I am a hella dope mom! I may not get it right every day, but on the days I do - whoa!!!!!

Say this (quote to the left) to yourself whenever you are questioning your role as a mom. Every time that you pray over your babies, feed and clothe them, care for them when they are sick, be by their side when they are going through something or they are troubled, give them a shoulder to cry on, a roof over their head, transportation, a gazillion activities and gadgets and devices - you are doing a great job. No one is perfect at it. There isn’t a step-by-step manual - only God’s word and direction to lead them in the time that He has gifted you with them. One day, they will make their own decisions and choose their own paths. Continue to be there for them for the bumps along the way, and give them an opportunity to find themselves. Don’t fret over what you didn’t get right or feel guilty in the times that you had to say no. Give yourself some credit. The seeds you planted are still there; it’s God’s responsibility to water and harvest those seeds. Keep going. You’ve got this.

Wow! There is so much to talk about when it comes to parenting. One child. Multiple children. Biological. Adopted. Bonus. Becoming a grandparent. And so much more. It truly does take a village.

Whether you stay at home, work from home, work outside the home - balancing it all can be a full time job in and of itself. Making the decision to stay at home, or work full time or both weighs on us as parents, especially as moms. You are a wife, a mother, an employee, and there is cooking, cleaning, laundry, bills to pay - so much to do and so many hats to wear, all while also trying to find five minutes of peace to yourself, which is normally last on your list of things to do! I have been there and can totally relate!
